AND Environmental Policy
Environmental Tracing’s QHSE policy is at the centre of all we do. Health and Safety is given the utmost priority for all of our employees, and anyone associated with our work, respecting all laws, regulations and working practices in all the countries and industries we work in. On completion of every job, we systematically evaluate our approach and implement any corrective measure required, adding them to our QHSE policy as a matter of course.
The importance of QHSE is evident from the fact that Environmental Tracing personnel routinely work in difficult conditions and harsh environments—both onshore and offshore—and still get the work done safely, successfully, on-time and on-budget. Despite working in such a dynamic work environment, Environmental Tracing has an impeccable health and safety record with no reportable accidents or incidents (including injuries, diseases or dangerous occurrences – see RIDDOR, UK HSE) in more than 25 years.
Environmental Tracing strives to comply with all applicable environmental legislation in the countries and sectors we work in.
Environmental Tracing is also committed to incorporating good environmental management and practice in all the company does and we continually work towards minimising our environmental impact across all activities. This includes encouraging environmental awareness with our clients and staff, being committed to continual environmental improvement, preventing pollution and, where possible, reducing our environmental footprint. The company has established and clear environmental goals including:
- reducing the resources we use in terms of water & energy use, travel and waste management
- working towards more environmentally inert tracers including the use of biopolymers and/or recycled polymers
- identifying tracer alternatives where no polymer is used in the manufacturing process.
